About Alyssa

Hello, my name is Alyssa Singleton, and I am the firm’s Elder Law Medicaid Coordinator. I assist with drafting long-term care plans and help with the Medicaid application process. I enjoy getting to work closely with our elder law clients and assisting them with their long-term care planning. My main goal is to make the Medicaid Application process as smooth as possible for our clients.

I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I attended college at University of South Dakota where I graduated with my master’s and undergrad degree in social work. I recently joined the firm after being with the State of South Dakota for ten years where I was Long Term Care Medicaid Benefit Specialist. With this background I am very familiar with the Medicaid process and enjoy bringing my knowledge to the team and to the clients we serve.

When I am not at work you can find me doing all things family. My husband and I have two boys that keep us on our toes. We enjoy playing/watching sports, going on walks with our two dogs Layla and Nola, cooking, and spending time with other close family and friends. We also love to travel. Our favorite place to go is to New Orleans, LA, where we get to visit my husband’s side of the family. When I have time to myself, I enjoy reading, watching a good TV show and yoga.
