About Janey

As our firm’s Estate Administrator, I assist in helping clients with probates, trust administration, guardianship and conservatorships.

Depending on the unique situation some of these matters can be overwhelming for families. I truly love being part of a team that always goes the extra mile to help bring our clients some comfort knowing they are in good hands, and we will be there every step of the way to help them.

I was born and raised in South Dakota, growing up on a farm just outside of Beresford. After high school, I graduated from South Dakota State University. I’ve spent the majority of my career working for non-profits in both the Pierre and Sioux Falls areas. Prior to joining Legacy Law Firm, I was the Executive Director for the South Dakota Parkinson's Foundation. I have a great passion for helping others and knowing the work I’m doing goes beyond just a job and is meaningful in helping clients through the different phases of life.

I currently live in Tea with my three boys, and one dog. When I am not working, I spend most of my time with my family and attending soccer and golf events for my kids.
